YSR/NSR hard to find aftermarket/custom parts - by BMS

Postby fireman_343 on Thu Mar 26, 2009 10:01 pm

Some of you might know Shawn from other forums around the mini scene.. he is the guy that is building the SWEET 450cc mini Ducati all custom bike!
He makes some really sweet carbon fiber stuff for our bikes and can get all the hard to find/get parts from Japan.
Check out his site at: http://www.bassettmotorsport.com/

Shawn and I have started a "partnership" (so to speak) and he is going to help me out with selling the NSR/XR100 motor bracket kits. I was able to get the opportunity to speak to Shawn on the phone today and he is just wanting to get the word out that there is a place to get the hard to find mini parts and also custom carbon fiber bits as well... http://www.bassettmotorsport.com/

Check it out, I think you'll see a lot of really cool parts!

No shi7!

Nice, I have been following his builds since he has been posting....great to see he is doing his own thing. It may be the old ducatisti of my past, but I have always, and I mean ALWAYS loved carbon. I will have to hit him up for some carbon bits here shortly....

What do you think mine is replicated off of... old news man! ;) Plus, I don't have the $1000 that they want for that exhaust. Mine cost a lot, but it wasn't that much!

We are in the shop designing them at the moment. Should be in production very soon.

I heard from Shawn a month or two ago... he said he was VERY busy and in the middle of moving, but he hasn't forgotten about JR and I. I think I'll try and give him a ring this weekend.
