DAMN.. nice! Why can't you live out here John? You build stuff for your Jeep and the bikes... way too cool!

What rear axle do you have in it... I see you've got a OX locker in there! And is that the long arm lift on it? What custom stuff did you do to the Jeep, I know you had to build something for it... bumpers or cage?

My old Samurai use to be a rock crawler rig, but when I moved from N.C. to Ohio, there was no trails here that I couldn't do in 2wd! You can see pic's of my old Samurai here in this post when I lifted the Jeep at work : general-topics-f1/your-tax-dollars-hard-at-work-t1129.html

My Jeep now serves as my daily driver for now, but I have plans to beef up some stuff on it, but again... the trails out here in Ohio don't look anything like the ones I use to wheel or the pic's you posted. So, I won't have to do much!

Here is a pic of it from the other day, I took that crappy push bar off the bumper... now I need to get a proper front bumper and rear swing away tire carrier for the rear!

Is that a slushbox or manual....while ever so slight, there is a chance that could have been my jeep. hehe...I had a 97 TJ, Sahara edition, was my first car out of college! Loved that thing.

Well.. it is a 98 TJ, and an Auto 4.0L, Borla header and full exhaust, K&N filter, etc... I know the guy that had it before me, and he said it came from VA..
Why did you get rid of it?? You'll see it at the track this weekend if you make it out!

Hi Bryan,
Sorry for not getting back to you, but my computer crashed the night I posted this.

To answer your questions, the axels are Danna 30 with 30 spline axels and OX lockers with 488 gears. The rear axel is Danna 35 with a 30 spline axel and Detroit locker.

The lift kit is a Fabtech 6 inch long arm, I made the high steer kit using 1 1/2 inch 250 wall tubing.

I built the cage front bumper and rear tire rack.

The motor is a 4.0 liter with an auto trans.
