Hey, it's supposed to be beautiful on Wednesday & Seth & I are going down to CRP to break in the new YSR motor, if anyone's up for playing hookey & wants to hit the track.

Gorgeous day for dickin' around with minibikes. I might hit the track again tomorrow just 'cause.

Show off!

I would have been out there but I'm working 'regular' hours this week and next.

How's the new engine?

When it comes to Mike Wallace, the story ends with me puttin' him into the wall.

The new engine is awesome! It revs like crazy (for a YSR) and I'm already going quicker than ever…when I don't miss a shift. Which seems to be every other lap. I feel obligated to hit the track again today just to nail this new shift pattern so I'm a little bit less of a danger to everyone on Saturday.

Yeah, it took a dump at the last race, so I gave it to Seth to take home & work his magic. The downside is now I don't have any excuses for going slow, so the ball's totally in my court to step it up.

Glad to hear you're digging it. Sounds like you procured an RX50 shift drum as well? Nice.

It's a shame our next race couldn't have taken place yesterday or today.

Yeah, I dragged an old RX motor out of Woody's a few years ago & it finally came in handy! I love the idea of GP shifting, but I'm still doing some mental gymnastics coming into turns 3 & 5. Hopefully I'll figure it out today.

And yeah, yesterday and today are perfect out. Too bad it's going to drop 15 or s0 degrees & possibly rain Saturday.
