Yes Aaron... that is correct! You and a few others think that way, but since I wasn't there Saturday and from my conversation with Kirsten on the phone, it seemed like everyone wanted to use the rain date. That is why there will be NO MORE rain dates posted... We race rain or shine, but if it snows we will cancel and reschedule when it happens. The rain date thing posted just confuses people and some don't keep the date open if we do not have a canceled race. I understand everyone's concerns with this, but I'm going off what I was told on the phone and that was that everyone (or most everyone at the track Saturday) wanted to use the rain date and I made the decision to go ahead with that!

As long as I'm around, this will not happen again!

Very cool...Not sure how everyone wanted to use this rain date, because like many said, only half of the club even showed up, and nothing was said during the riders meeting, but hey.........All is good n well

Another thing, after the races on Oct 24th, we will vote in the rules for next season (as long as all the club board members are present that day, or I get their vote early).
This will give everyone time to "talk" about any rule changes for next season. I want to have the rules done ASAP so people know what to expect for next season and have as much time as possible to make any changes on their bikes if they feel they need to do so.

Also, there will no longer be any double points rounds added at the end of the season. I never understood or liked how Kirsten did that, other then keeping everyone wondering who is going to win what class.

Brian,
Couldn't agree more with the above three changes you will make next season.
Thanks!

No problem Bill.. It kinda starts this season and a few new things I am going to test out as well these last two races to help get riders more track time in the morning!

You too bud, when you blew by me in the first heat, you gapped me and I tried my best to get back to you....started to reel you in and then I was pushing too much and low-sided....that is the key...you got me pushing outside my comfort zone...it was very fun. Great racing!

I just wanted to say that I had an awesome time last weekend... I was the slow guy on the CR85 with the goofy smile on his face all day!

It was great to meet/see everyone, and I'm looking forward to doing it again on the 10th. I may even bring some new mini-racing virgins with me as well from the world of WERA.

Good meeting you Joel, glad you had a great time despite a minor crash…as you saw though, that was par for the course! One of the benefits of the lil' bikes on the kart track is crashing with relatively few consequences.
Thanks for sharing your pit space with me & looking forward to racing again on the 10th. And like I said, if you're into playing hooky on a warmish Friday, post your intentions on the board here & I'm sure a few people will be glad to join you at CRP for some "hot" laps.

Glad you snagged that CR85 in time for the CPR race Joel! See you on the 10th...or maybe the 9th if you carpool up with us.
