Brian,
Nothing up at mylaps.com. Kirsten usually does that before she leaves the track. Did she run into problems? I had to leave early and didn't hear any final results. Spill it.

Kent,
What kind of times could you get out of the bone stock XR?

Kent did about 15 laps after the races, and his best time was a low 1:00. My best time in the second F3 race was a mid 59.

Yes, do tell how everyone did. As I can't seem to catch a break in my schedule I have to live vicariously through threads/posts like this.

Way to go on the double, Purslow! (Rockets!) You sure you don't want to take that luck to Road America? Just sayin'...

Congrats everyone! I'm looking forward to getting back out in there in July. Finally.

Wow, somehow I missed that time when I read through it initially. On second thought, maybe I won't come back in July

Justin and Eden both broke into the under-1:00 world yesterday. Congratulations to both!!!

Kent's 52.1 is just stupid.

JR... I don't want to hear it... you've done a .51 before, so all you need to do is get on the throttle a little sooner and you are there!
Plus, you can do .52's out there all day while you sleep!

And on that note, Kent was riding VERY well all day. After he passed me with 2-3 laps left in F1, I tried to keep up but couldn't, so I secured 2nd! Thanks for crashing in the first F1 heat!

Todd Patton gets my vote for the best starts EVER! That dude was 3 rows back and came smoke'n past me in the 2nd F1 race when I thought I got the hole shot going into T1... I don't know how you ride that thing man, but DAMN  I was impressed at how you can handle/control the bike with it all over the place like that! And nice blackies you left coming out of T4 when you about high sided it.. I hope they stay for for a while! Good job man!

Bill and Steve are getting at it on there RS/85 bikes.. Steve was showing me his front wheel going into T4, Looks like you've got the bike dialed in right!

Jeff Root was riding very well too... Good racing with ya in F2!!! And a beautiful pass off the back straight in the 2nd F2 heat... didn't think you'd make it stick, but it was a great pass!!! Very fun going 2 wide in T4/3 Good job! Now... all the lap riders need to get out of my way next time!!! J/K

haha - kind words. Yes -good racing in a bunch of different classes.
My last notes from when I ran CRP clockwise are dated Aug2003.....for some reason I think the turns got a little tighter (happened to my leathers too)
Many thanks to everyone for a nice day at the track.

Thanks Brian. Im getting close. I was really getting a good run through 5, but I just couldn't take 4 tight enough to try for the pass. I am still over a second behind you guys. Hopefully a few suspension adjustments will help that. The bump going through 1 was killing me.

Todd gets my vote for best save EVER! I thought Brain and I were gonna have to take evasive action. I thinks thats about as sideways as a bike can get without crashing.

Bill- I Only made about 8 laps on Hattens bike. I was running CCW and did a couple of 1:00's. There are a few areas I could improve on and I will convert my F3 bike before the end of season to see what can be done on a bike built to the maximum allowance of the rules. My estimated guess at lap times would be in the mid to high 58's CCW.
I also had a lot of fun chasing you in Heat 1. That was the first time I could really see how I stacked up against you or anybody. No big deal about the crash; Those things are just racing deals! It's too bad you didn't get a better start in Heat 2, we could of had a three deep race!

Brian- Sweet race in Heat 2! You were flying, I had trouble keeping up at the beginning. You were getting off the corners soooo well I couldn't do anything with you. Not to mention I had a couple of moments in the first couple laps. I am wondering if my tires are too cold for the first half of the race? After halfway was when I started getting good drive out of the corners. Atleast now you know you can keep it pinned getting onto the backstretch. And Oh Ya, Good job knocking me off the top of the box!

I would also like to mention that Jeff Root did an OUTSTANDING JOB of getting by Brian on the OUTSIDE  of turn 4. good racing. And also Aaron Reek kept me honest in F3. Every time I looked back he was there. Great Job!

A special thanks goes out to Matt Rehm! Thanks for driving the Dumpstar with expired tags to deliver my YSR. That takes either BIG BALLS, or a Lack of Brains

No problem. I might not be at the front of the pack, but I'm a racer and you know what John Ulrich says - "Racers race". It's been in my blood for a long time that whatever you need to do to get to the track and get on the track, you do it. Good luck with the bike  .
