Hey all whats the plan for us at Mid-Ohio during the MiniGP demo races?
I know Chuck S. mentioned we (OYL) were welcome to be apart these in 08.
Myself and Ron L. are planning on making it for sure friday, saturday, and sunday. We are more than willing to help do just about whatever needs to be done to support the staff while at Mid-Ohio sportscar Course.
Keep us posted of registration etc.... I know that the last 2 years youth registration had to be via special forms provided by Chuck Shorie and Mid-Ohio. I'd hate to see the kids not be able to ride/race.
Thanks

Kirsten and I are talking about it now.. I'm trying to "iron out" a few issues she has with it, but I hope I can "sweet talk" her into letting OYL run the show, since Chuck was so nice to offer it for us to do!
I'll know more by next week for sure! I know it is just around the corner.. just hold on man! _________________ -CONRAD #4

Cool.
It is so close.
Chuck had the hook-up with pre-registration........ yeah i know it costs per entry but it was very efficient, I'm more concerned with the paper work for my kids to ride/race.
Keep us up to date
Looking forward to it being a success _________________ E H Donahey

When I was talking to Chuck at BR he was saying that registration might be $75 this year rather than $50. That's still a steal if - like me - you were planning on going to the Superbike weekend anyhow!!!
I had a real blast last year. Nicole and I were out there in the rain until they started pulling up the haybales!!! Not to mention the volunteer help Matt and Wayne gave me packing up the car in the pouring rain. I don't think the smell is out of my car yet!!! _________________ Matt Rehm

Agreed it is well worth the money spent to attend the AMA races, pimp the sport of MiniGP racing to tens of thousands of MOTORCYCLE jockies. Lots of people watching last year. With a promotional plan i'm sure we can muster some momentum for our regions growth from this one event.
This is where the future top racers come from. Its also about people having fun racing...... at any age.
Educating the genral public about this is critical for future growth.
Oh and having the pleasure to have a personal conversation with Matt Mladin was worth the trip alone Also knowing some people in AMA teams and hanging with them is again a bonus. _________________ E H Donahey
